My favorite part is

the day with a slumber

4th of July 2014

July 7, 2014 By Julia Leave a Comment

We didn’t get to go to Florida this 4th because
we were awaiting our newest
member of the family but we had a great time
here in Dallas!
We started the day off with red velvet waffles,
blue & red milk, and fruit pizza!
It was delicious!
Jane Maddy LOVED the waffles!
She finished everyone’s plate!
Roman liked the blue milk
the best!
After breakfast our family
hit the pool!
We were so happy daddy drove in
to spend the weekend with us!
After the pool we joined the rest of
the family for a cookout!
Mindcraft finds it’s way
into every family gathering.
Swimming wore these guys out!
We tried getting a family photo but my
kids weren’t into it.
Jessica’s kids actually all looked and smiled!
We headed to see fireworks
but it wasn’t meant to be.
Our family doesn’t
have the best track
record when it comes
to 4th of July fireworks.
The kids were so worn out they didn’t
seem to mind. They were all asleep
 before we reached the house!

Last Day of School 2014

June 21, 2014 By Julia Leave a Comment

The last day of school finally arrived!
I’m not sure who was more excited,
me or the kids? Actually, I know Lottie
and Roman were the happiest to have their
sisters home!
Nixon and Isla had
WONDERFUL teachers this year!
We are very thankful
for them.
We went the easy way out this
year and got them
gift cards to Sonic to thank them.
Mrs. Lukas
Mrs. Sperry
The girls had fun on their
last day!
Nixon actually cried for days.
She was not ready for school to be out.
She really misses her friends.
We had a BIG surprise waiting for the girls
when they arrived home!
Daddy and the kids hiding and waiting
to surprise the girls!
Here they come!
WATER FIGHT!

Ryan didn’t want to join
in on the fun. She sat in the window
and watched.

Roman loves our
neighbor, Matthew!
Lottie didn’t really love
being sprayed with water.
She joined Jane Maddy
in the car to watch safely!
After cupcakes and drinks
the kids had to dry out!
It was a fun day!
I love seeing how much they changed throughout the years!
Love my girls and my family!

 They were even more
excited to have their daddy there!
Isla had so much fun during her 1st

Isla’s best friend,
Mikayla.
They are inseparable.
I love watching
Nixon play the games!
The girls favorite
station was the Hamster Ball!

Roman even joined in on the fun!
My favorite was watching the
Batman Races and
Tug-A-War!
We were so blessed with two
wonderful teachers
this year!
Mrs. Sperry
Mrs. Lukas
We are thankful for
a good school year, friendships
a wonderful staff, and lifelong memories!

Isla’s Kindergarten Graduation

June 16, 2014 By Julia Leave a Comment

I was so sad I had to miss Isla’s
Kindergarten graduation.
I had my yearly college girls’
beach trip planned & the plane ticket
was already purchased.
I left Jared and Jessica in charge
of taking LOTS of pictures and video!
Class of 2026
Jessica made sure she
had goodies and cupcakes!
So proud of our little
graduate!

It looks like Mrs. Lukas
helped get her ready!

Isla’s best friend, Mikayla!
We are so proud of Isla.
She won the P.E. Award
and the Citizenship Award!
She also won a free ticket to
Six Flags for reading!

Kindergarten Class of 2014

Isla and Mrs. Lukas
She was so happy Gue was there
to celebrate!
Cousins!
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11
We look forward to watching you grow and learn.
We know the Lord has big plans for you, Isla!
